About This Site

RentACarThailand.com is an independent booking platform that connects travelers with local vehicle suppliers across Thailand. We operate as an affiliate of Localrent, displaying available vehicles and processing reservations on behalf of participating suppliers.

How This Service Works

When you search and book through this website, you compare offers from multiple local suppliers operating in Thailand. The reservation is forwarded to the supplier you choose, and your rental agreement is concluded directly with that supplier. We earn a referral commission on completed bookings but do not operate the suppliers, own any vehicles, or control their terms and conditions.

Your advance payment is processed online by card. The remaining balance, security deposit requirements, and accepted payment methods are determined by each supplier and confirmed in your booking voucher. We do not hold deposits, set rental terms, or handle claims - those responsibilities belong to the supplier listed in your agreement.

Coverage and Destination Guides

This website focuses exclusively on Thailand. We publish destination guides for ten locations: Phuket, Bangkok, Krabi, Koh Samui, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Khao Lak, Koh Lanta, and Surat Thani. Airport pickup guides are available for Phuket HKT, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi BKK, Krabi KBV, Koh Samui USM, Chiang Mai CNX, and Surat Thani URT.

Each guide provides practical information about pickup locations, local road conditions, and regional planning tips. We do not verify suppliers, inspect vehicles, or provide ratings.

What We Do Not Provide

RentACarThailand.com does not operate offices, employ local staff, or maintain customer support phone lines. We do not personally select or audit suppliers, guarantee vehicle availability, or promise specific response times. All questions about your booking - including insurance options, child seats, additional drivers, permitted travel areas, and cancellation policies - must be confirmed with the supplier listed in your voucher.

We do not publish fixed prices, distance calculations, or journey time estimates. Search results reflect current supplier availability and terms, which may change without notice.

Contact Information
