Service Model and Booking Process

We do not own, operate or manage any fleet of vehicles. All conditions, pickup instructions, insurance options, fuel policies, mileage limits, additional driver fees, child seat availability and other terms are determined by the supplier you select and confirmed in your voucher.

Payment Structure and Deposits

The online payment you make on this website is an advance towards the total cost, processed through Localrent. The remaining balance, security deposit amount, accepted payment methods and any credit card requirements are set by each individual supplier and displayed during the booking process. The security deposit is a separate hold placed by the supplier at pickup and is not collected by this website. RentACarThailand.com may receive a referral commission from completed bookings.

Vehicle Photos and Specifications

All vehicle images on this website are generated illustrations used for category representation. Photos do not depict the exact model, color, trim level or features you will receive. The live listing you select determines the actual vehicle group, transmission type, passenger capacity and included equipment. Confirm all specifications in your confirmation email and voucher before travel.

Availability and Listing Accuracy

Vehicle availability, pricing, pickup locations and terms are controlled by each supplier in real time through the Localrent platform. This website displays current information but cannot guarantee that every listing remains available until you complete your booking. Once you receive a confirmation voucher the reservation is active subject to the supplier's stated conditions.

Island Transfers and Ferry Restrictions

Thailand's geography includes islands such as Phuket, Koh Samui and Koh Lanta. Vehicle transport by ferry or between certain zones requires explicit written permission from the supplier. Check the agreed rental area in your voucher and contact the supplier directly before planning any island or inter-regional journey. Unauthorized ferry transport may void coverage and result in penalties.

Supplier Responsibilities and Voucher Instructions

Check the pickup options in your selected offer and agree the exact address or airport meeting point with the supplier. Provide your accommodation details or flight number as appropriate. The voucher and supplier instructions determine the handover arrangements; confirm the return location separately.
