Privacy Notice

This notice explains how RentACarThailand.com handles information when you visit the website or send a message through the contact form.

Website operator

RentACarThailand.com is an independent affiliate connecting visitors with local providers in Thailand through the Localrent booking platform. Questions about information collected by this website can be sent to [email protected].

Contact form messages

When you use the contact form at /contact-us/, the website collects your name, email address, subject line and message text. This information is written to a private server log stored outside the public folder so the operator can read and respond to your enquiry. Do not submit payment-card details, passport numbers or other sensitive documents through the contact form.

Booking searches and reservations

The search widget and booking flow are provided by Localrent, a third-party platform. When you perform a search at /#search or complete a reservation, your search criteria, pickup details, driver information and payment data are sent to Localrent and the supplier you select. RentACarThailand.com does not receive, store or process booking data; those records are governed by the policies of Localrent and the rental provider named on your voucher. Requests to access, correct or delete booking information must be directed to the provider shown in your confirmation email.

Hosting and technical logs

The hosting service may generate technical access logs recording IP addresses, browser type and page requests for system operation and security purposes. RentACarThailand.com does not install analytics software or tracking services on this build.

Embedded resources

Pages on this website load Google Fonts from Google's servers. When your browser requests a font file, Google may log the request and your IP address under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete contact-form messages held by this website by emailing [email protected]. For booking records, contact the supplier or Localrent directly using the details in your voucher.

Updates

This privacy notice was last updated in October 2026. Material changes will be published on this page.

If you have questions about how your data is handled, email [email protected] for website enquiries or refer to your voucher for booking-related data requests.
